ITINERARY           

Your 8-days safari will begin with viewing large African elephant’s herds, lions, zebras and giraffes in one of the most beautiful Tanzania national park Tarangire. Thereafter we will explore the beautiful scenery of Ngorongoro national park where you will get to visit the Ngorongoro crater which is the ‘Eden of Africa’. You will also visit one of the most iconic national park in Tanzania which is the Serengeti then Lake Eyasi and Finally Lake Manyara.

Scarface safaris will ensure that you experience the best and magical moment during your adventure and have a wonderful time where you will get to see, a hunt in the wild life, a mother protecting its cub or calf, old-aged baobab trees, vast herds of wildebeest’s morning and afternoon, beautiful sceneries of grass plains, you will also get to enjoy bush breakfast and bush lunch while enjoying the beautiful view of wildlife.

DAY-1 ARRIVAL (KILIMANJARO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT)

On your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be received by our ground handling team at Kilimanjaro International Airport with board that has your name, then you will be picked up from the airport to the hotel [it takes 1hrs to 30minutes to reach Arusha region] where you will spend the night at Arusha Planet Lodge.

However, along the way to Arusha you may get to see some fascinating features such as, the view of Africans highest mountain Kilimanjaro (from KIA), large coffee farms and rice farms, domesticated donkeys, local houses and different tribes like the Maasai tribe where you will also get explanations on the different lifestyles of the tribes along the way. Moreover, you may get to see the view of Mt. Meru.

DAY-2 TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

In the morning after warm breakfast [around 7:30am], our representative, a professional guide will arrive at the hotel and inform the receptionist that he is waiting for you. After meeting up with your driver, you will start your safari heading to Tarangire national park and by 10:00 am you will reach the park On this two-hour drive, you will get a chance to see the remote areas of Tanzania especially seeing the beautiful and one of the biggest art galleries, African art gallery, then you may spot animals corridor before reaching Makuyuni, moreover the beautiful Kisongo plain grass land as well as Arusha airport and absolutely during the journey you will see local houses especial Maasai houses and this will make one of the exciting safaris.

 It is an endless experience to visit Tarangire because of the huge baobab trees highest density of elephant (home of elephant), Perennial Tarangire River, and Over 500 species of birds (East Africa best birding destination), Palm trees little luck you can spot pythons. Furthermore, the park is also home to buffalos, tree climbing lions, zebras and wild beasts which are always closely followed by a range of predators such as lions, leopards and etc. on arrival to Tarangire national park we will have 10 minutes break for the washroom at the entrance, while guide complete legal formalities at the park authority before starting our game drive. After an intensive game drive, we will have lunch break at Matete picnic site while watching beautiful scenic view which is a better way to enjoy lunch, sitting in a park overlooking elephant and other wildlife. You will spend the night at Karatu Farm of dream lodge

DAY-3 NGORONGORO TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After a hot and delicious breakfast, our professional driver guide will be ready to pick you up, from Karatu Farm of dream lodge to start our game drive to the African Garden of Eden. The crater is known for its high concentration of exciting animals, in no time you will be witnessing more spectacular sites. Ngorongoro crater is almost 600m deep, approximately 20km wide, and the massive caldera is home of amazing variety of animals, the park was of declared by UNESCO as World Heritage Site in 1979. Ngorongoro is unique to the fact that is largest and broken, inactive, unfilled caldera in the world with diameter approximately 9km (12 miles). It is an endless experience because of all different kind of mammals ranging from the big five, lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard-to giraffe and Thomson gazelle. Over 500 bird’s species Human co-existence with wild animals among of the seventh’s world wonders and other wildlife. Later on we will drive back to Serengeti national park and you will spend the night at Kon tiki tented camp.

 

DAY 4-5 SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

In the morning after warm breakfast [around 7:30am], our representative, a professional guide will arrive at the hotel and inform the receptionist that he is waiting for you. After meeting up with your driver, you will start your safari heading to Serengeti national park. Along the way you will get a chance to see the remote areas of Tanzania especially seeing the beautiful and one of the biggest art galleries, African art gallery, then you may spot animals corridor before reaching Makuyuni, moreover the beautiful Kisongo plain grass lands as well as Arusha airport and absolutely during the journey you will see local houses especial Maasai houses and this will make one of the exciting safaris.

 It is an endless experience to visit Serengeti because, despite being the largest national park in Tanzania which stretches over 14763km2 (located entirely in Eastern Mara region) it is famously known for its largest animal migration of over hundreds of thousands of wild beasts and zebras and smaller herds of gazelles, it also has a diversity of habitats and landscapes – short grass plains, savannah, thick bush, swamps and lakes. Bizarre rock formations called kopjes dot the grassy landscape where predators are often seen

Our professional guide will try to find the animals that you are mostly interested in, including the ‘big five’. During lunch time you will visit the Serengeti visitor centre where you will be offered a lunch box and provided with lots of interesting information especially history of the park and animals such as cheetahs and rhinos as you enjoy nature around you.

During your tour in Serengeti national park, on the 4th day you will spend the night at Kon tiki tented camp and on the 5th day you will spend the night at Farm of Dreams Lodge.

DAY-6 LAKE EYASI

Lake Eyasi is a seasonal shallow endorheic Salt Lake on the floor of the Great Rift Valley at the base of the Serengeti Plateau, just south of the Serengeti National Park and immediately southwest of the Ngorongoro Crater in the Crater Highlands of Tanzania.

It is a beautiful experience to visit Lake Eyasi because of the Hadzabe Bushmen (The Hadzabe, Bushmen who still hunt for food, live around Lake Eyasi), the indigenous inhabitants and the last community of hunters and gatherers in Africa. Lake Eyasi is their homeland for over 10,000 years. The Hadzabes live the same as 1000 years ago however agriculture, colonization, safari and tourism has impacted them largely and changed some of their living styles.

In addition to that, when there is a reasonable amount of water in the lake it attracts the hippos and birds for habitat.

You will then spend the night at Farm of Dreams Lodge.

 

DAY-7 MANYARA NATIONAL

This is the last day of your safari and we will look back to the beautiful memories that we have had during your adventure while exploring the Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara is relatively small but diverse national park 120km west of Arusha. The park namesake (Lake Manyara is shallow Salt Lake) it covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the season and it’s a home of thousands of flamingos and over other 500 bird species. In your exploration in the park, you will get to see monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wild beasts, buffaloes, elephants and with some lucky you might be able to see tree climbing lions (the lions lodging on the trees). Attractions Available in Lake Manyara National Park include Lake Manyara, wild life, birdlife, ground water forest, acacia woods, Maji moto spring, tree canopy and marang forest reserve and wild animals. Begin your tour in the park and marvel at the 400 species of birds which inhabit the park, many of which remain throughout the year because of the Lake Manyara (which makes it an excellent spot for bird viewing). As you drive into the interior of the park, keep your eyes peeled for big cats such as leopards, Maasai lions, and cheetahs. We will continue on to the hippopotamus pond at one end of the park where you will have the opportunity to get out of your van and observe from a safe distance.  

Later in the evening our professional guide will drive you safe Arusha Planet Lodge where you will spend the night.

DAY-8 FLIGHT BACK HOME

In the morning after warm breakfast our representative, a professional guide will arrive at the hotel and inform the receptionist that he is waiting for you ready to take you to the airport (Kilimanjaro international Airport) for your flight back home.
